The Better Man

One of man's most unique attributes is his ability to feed off adversity and aggression
Where almost the entirety of the worlds creatures will react with fear or rage when faced with it, man has the ability to laugh in its face or shrug it off
In the most negative of situations he has the ability to harness its energy and utilize it to strengthen himself, creating a burden on his rival rather than upon himself
This acute level of personal strength, patience, and awareness, not present throughout the entirety of his life, rather born of struggle and loss, now his indestructible means of defense
Punishing his adversary not by verbal or physical means, but rather digging into his psyche, confusing him with his resolve, abusing his mind with a silent barrage of dismissiveness
Offsetting the aggressors anger with unflappable confidence and control
Snuffing out his bravado
Suffocating his rage
Smothering his will
Laying him to waste
