I CAN NEVER BE LONELY (WITH JESUS WALKING BY MY SIDE)

I can never be lonely while
Jesus is walking by my side,
For Jesus is my sweet saviour
He’s someone in whom I can confide.

When I pray to my sweet Lord
I know that he’ll answer my call,
He’s there to lead and guide me
And pick me up should I e’er fall.

For the Lord is my shepherd
And treats me like one of his flock,
He listens when I ask for help
He has given me all I have got.

I can never feel worthless
While Jesus answers my prayers,
My faith keeps me going
In my heart, I can feel Jesus there.

I can never stumble
I feel Jesus walking beside me,
In the day I feel his presence
And when I pray his sweet visage I see.

No, I can never be lonely
For as long as I may be alive,
For with Jesus walking beside me
I know that somehow I’ll survive!
