I DREAMED TO GET TO NOWHERE

It was pictured as a beautiful place,
I dreamed I will always come there to see, what so much in picture I had beautifully seen.
I one day stopped dreaming and showed up as is,
With a penny in my pocket, my strolling luggage and what I had on and a government benefit to pay a  place to live.
Instead, I had a nightmare and not sure if I ever want to dream the same dream.
I was insulted, name called, lied about, disrupted the phone calls, accused all along, kicked out of the job and sexual harasser, spoiled my appetite and my things to do. And although, all documents read you should not discriminate against race, disability and all that I was called mentally ill and institute faithfully on a daily routine. I was called prostitute and a more than that. I stopped looking at the map to figure out where my next gypsy trip will be to explore on the earth what mother nature did. As I did not belong on earth, I grab two bags which include the extra souvenir bag with less cents than when I came in with tears all over my face that I do not know for how long they will drip. I am afraid that I will even dare to dream again. Yes, I am Puerto Rican but maybe I am the one meant to be bugged out and live in a hut just to please them.
