Foolish It Is To Feel Stupid

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

The more I enjoy growing older,
The more I enjoy,
A peace of mind to have earned learning...
Life blessed to receive it given,
Takes a going through stages growing.
And sharing to listen to others,
What it took for them to realize...
Basic needs and wants to wish them,
Become easier choices to choose...
With a knowing what keeps,
A peace of mind kept to earn...
More enhanced to protect.

And that which is unnecessary,
To advance impressions to make them.
Immediately thought to be,
A foolish and boring waste of time.
Quickly done to mentally process,
Before wasting the time to discover,
How boring and foolish it is to feel stupid!
