The Little Things During a Pandemic

Geraldine A 1967 (Smithborough)

The Little Things During a Pandemic.

Having genuine gratitude for the moment. A roof over your head with a place to lay your head, breathing with a prayer sent to the universe.

Money for what you need, Food to eat, a warm shower and clean clothes, a smile from a stranger, a helping extended hand, a walk-in nature, birds chirping, a good book, a shared genuine belly laugh which is so rare and so needed,.

A virtual hug never felt so good.

An inspiration quote and soothing word, a listening ear without judgment as your heart bleeds, writing a helpful word or playing a musical cord.

All these little things are such deep comfort in a time of the unknown, challenge loss and despair for many, these little things are often a saving grace when truly appreciated in the moment of discomfort when you often want to hide.

Just breathe in each moment with a grateful heart and have faith that all will work out in this time of doubt and often gray  moments .
