Commissioning

Commissioning

Looking into unknown spaces
My mind becomes captivated
with the thought of being
in a different sort of way.

At the onset of my journey
I could not find sure ground for my feet to stand.

My legs failed
And faltered at the new space it found itself in .

When my legs shook,
That part of my body
Which moved me began to speak,
However, those words failed.

Then my heart thought
That my ears could listen for direction
And there it came to me,
The cadence which calls
And carries me.
My ears found the rhythm of my heart.

And it is from that place I have discovered
My voice
My peace
My passion
And that which holds and contains.

My stone
My container
My being present
My curiosity
My edges
And the beauty
Of starting again
in the new space I now call home.
