Like A Clock

Oh I know that time is fleeting
Like a clock my heart is a time piece, that keeps beating
Like a old old clock weathered by raging storms
and powerful raging seas
The heart keeps time, inside of me.
Oh the ticking is amazing after all this heart has been through, keeping almost perfect time only lost a second or two.
It amazes me how it goes on and seems to beat so strong. Tic Toc tic tock my heart and more my clock
I don't know the reason it is still ticking now today
but I will keep on going for now as yesterday.
While it tics and while it tocks I am thankful for my hearts clock, keeping time until my time when the ticking ends
