Of whispers and Purple

bluejay1985 2002 (A state of panic.)

Free verse
Moonlit train take me home
to the place
where water is still
and still
where I think of you,
even if you don't call me
or even wish to see me.
I come home.
on a moonlit train,
where the song pierces the heavens
which awakens
the birds
that sing
of whispers and purple.
