My Dad is a hero

My Dad is a hero
That was sent from above
To give his heart to others
And to give us his love
He gave everything he had
To comfort every one
An angel on earth
Until his work was done
However his work is never over
And he's no longer in pain
As he watches over us
A hero in heaven
His wings he has gained
Don't be sad
Because he's gone
His love and smile
Will always live on
Cherish the time
He had with us
Hold on to those memories
It is a must
I know we are sad
And tears we cry
He wants us to be happy
And not to say goodbye
live your life to the fullest
Cherish the moments we have
Be a hero to others
Live, love and laugh.
