Missing Family

I miss my Mom
I miss my Dad
I miss the time
That we had.
I miss Aunt Carolyn
And Uncle Craig too
The talks we had
And them saying I love you.
Grandma and Grandpa
The laughs we shared
Eating oatmeal together
And Knowing how much you cared.
Aunt Joan
Dog treats you would bring
And a smile of love
A personality sent from above
I have more family
And friends that are gone
I miss them all
But we go on.
I could really use a hug today
And don’t know where to go
It is really hard cause you’re not here
My heart breaks and grows.
It will mend
I know it will
But only time will tell
