Across the ocean

She who holds me in the midnight fog
from acid rain bleeding on a leaf
the loud croaking of a green frog
all I held dear from a dire belief

her the one who melts white snow
a comfortable pillow to rest a head
when there is no where else to go
for the fallen are the dark and dead

a lover and a mother who holds me
clear of any mischievous traitor

we set sail with the pirate sailor
