Never Forgotten

Life is short
It is what you do with it that counts
and when you meet someone that touches your heart
it is hard to say goodbye

We will remember the way you touched our lives
We will celebrate your life
We will mourn your death
But mostly we will rejoice that our lives were better because of how you impacted it

When you find that final resting place
Watch over us and guide us
We will always remember you in our hearts
And you will always be with us, never forgotten

About this poem

A friend had a family member pass away. Asked me to write a poem for them to use at a wake. I came up with this to say how we will always remember those we love even after they pass away.
