ETHICS

Olusesan Adesanya 1977 (Lagos)

Sonnet
It is to be born
Is it to be poor/rich?
Death like destiny
My third eye of nature
Hopes and aspirations
The world is naughty ……
my wonders are haughty
Put in a pre ………….
Can I have a post ……….
Human existence, noble minded ………….
Success, is all human tradition
Can you play the tiger?
Can I have spots for dinner?
What we get ……………
is all there is ………..
The epitome is wisdom.

This poem was written in 2001 and was my first attempt at poetry. it mirrors the everyday expectations evident in our ever evolving society.
