To My Neighbors

To my Neighbors

Left and right
To the seniors of my bordering
Good morning
How are you doing?

With all the pain and ache
You dwindle as age progressing
Not easy moving without
Help of walker

You are not any more
Moving around with strength
That is to be an old age
With the stiffness of muscles and weakness

Eyes are sadder and wiser
"We are real," you say, and we are
Standing here in our zone
Life is flowing as a fountain
That is God divine if we may say it

The wrinkles, sags, the graying hair are earned
The priceless years of the past; remaining is a treasure
At the cost of many fall and rise
Still love to smell roses at Rose of Sharon

What can be done to avoid it?
As it is a rule of nature only gratitude
 for golden years
And hold on loving self and your neighbor
