Dom

“I need you… I love you!”

My friends think we are cute together
— A match made in heaven.
They do not know what I see, hear or feel
— At least Dom knows…

“Come home right now… Where are you?”

The trackers in my gifts always know where I am
— Dom wants to protect me.
I hear the never-ending ringtone playing on repeat
— I have to talk to Dom and not others.

“I have not heard that name… Who is that?”

I never know how much money I have in the bank or in my pocket
— Good thing Dom manages all of that.
Social media portrays me at my best with my friends
— Dom knows all my friends and all my passwords.

“Do not whisper… Speak up!”

Doctors cannot fix my face nor the new angle of my teeth
— Dom says I need to smile more
The silent screams stay within me as we look eye-to-eye
— “Yes” is good enough for Dom

“Do not say another word… Shut up!”

Things lodged in my mouth and down my neck
— Dom wants me to be more submissive.
The thumbs continue to press deep into my throat
— Air is precious, like Dom's love for me.

“Do what I say… I own you!”

My closet stripped to only hold a handful of permitted clothes
— Dom helps me to look beautiful.
The squeezing ropes around my wrists and ankles pull tighter
— Dom is so passionate.

“Look what you have done… You are useless!”

I have to buy new glasses and plates if I cannot put the fragments back together
— I bleed out to keep Dom mine.
I have to be very careful because I make too many mistakes
— Luckily, Dom always forgives me.

“Make sure no-one else sees… Hide it!”

I cannot see the triangle mark on my back, but it burns
— Fiery, like Dom's intimacy.
Constantly reapplying makeup, but not to look pretty
— Just to avoid certain questions, so I can bail Dom out.

“I do everything for you… You owe me!”

The inertia swings and contorts my body into disfigured poses
— I am Dom's ballerina
Faithfulness and loyalty is most important as I remember my promises
— I know Dom would never deceive me.

Dom needs me… Dom loves me!
