Adventures

How do you do?
Were the first words I asked you
We sat by the fireplace
Keeping ourselves warm

See something new
You always wanted to explore
Things beyond your reach
They were out of our reach

What are you getting into?
I told you to be careful
But you never listened
You were braver than me

How your eyes grew
Every step you took forward
To the that unimaginable scene
It made our hearts beat

Oh, what a view
All the colours and the hues
All blended together
It was unforgettable

The sole of my shoe
Some had holes, others inexistent
Had walked a thousand miles
To keep up with you

There's no queue
For where we wanted to go
We could roam freely
It was our own little world

What's it to you?
I said sometimes when I fell
You always stopped in your tracks
And you helped me up

It has to be true
You were always by my side
When I needed you the most
You said everything will be fine

Oh, how we flew
We soared above the treetops
With the rising sun
Holding on to my hands

It's time to renew
Our vows and our love
The interconnected madness
We both stayed strong

What are you up to?
Let's go on our next adventure
Please stand closer
Please stay with me

I still need you.
I still want you.
I still miss you.
I still love you.
