Mr. & Mrs. Mistry!!

Our next door neighbors in Bombay
The Parsi couple who kept worries at bay

They did not have any children
Loving and caring were one in million

The couple were like love birds
They spoke honey dipped words

Always showering me with affection
We had a  very special connection

My father's transfer left them heartbroken
Watched them unhappy and grief-stricken

We drifted apart as the years rolled by
Once I thought of visiting them and say Hi

It was too late, dumbstruck I cried
I was numb, broken from inside

My only regret was of being too late
It was destiny who had played as a bait

Payed my tribute as they had perceived
Like their own daughter I had grieved
