Dreams Caress

I close my  eyes, I see your face.
Once again to drift, into "Our Place"
I see your smile, imagine your touch
So soft and gentle, love you so much.
Can’t picture my life, without seeing you there,
So many memories, we so often share.
You are in my  thoughts, throughout the day,
In my soul, in my heart, you always will stay.
Reading the words we have said,
Going through it all in my head.
Hoping everything will be alright,
Praying to God, and holding on tight.
Hoping for things, I dream to be real,
Happy and  loved,  thats what I want to feel!
Will you hold me, want me, just for a start.
All I need, is a small place in your heart.

Dancing around in a place of our own,
Always together, never alone.
Holding each other, never letting go,
This place we've created, our heaven you know.
Dreams take me to you, what bliss, as I sleep,
Then, I awaken, this too I can't keep.
Ripped from my arms, your face fades away,
Wishing deep in my heart, here you would stay.
Loneliness caresses my fading skin,
Trying to escape this hell that I'm in.
Cold, alone, not knowing what I have done,
Take us back in time, and into the sun.
Where I can be with you, forever, in love
Into the stars and way up above.
Thoughts come  flooding, into my mind,
How could this happen, me be so blind.
Losing perspective, of things that can't be,
Me loving you... not you loving me.
Wishing and wanting, cannot make you feel,
It's only in dreams, it will never be real.
