Dark Carousel Ride

I stand in line waiting my turn.
Why am I even standing hear I never learn. I am feeling  uneasy so nervously pacing, but you said this time would be different.
You tell me it is safe and there is no need to worry, That I am safe on this dark carousel ride.
Mommy please you lied before, this is a mistake I can feel it deep in my core.

the last time we rode you lost control.
Here we go aging down this dark rabbit hole.
I tug and I scream fighting for you to stop but then put my feelings aside . Here we go again on this dark carousel ride.
The skies seem so bright and there’s not a cloud in the sky.
Besides this time you say it’s different , why not give it a try.
Let me get on this carousel ride.
I get on the ride and it’s starts to shake .
I don’t think it’s is stable it’s starting to break.
There some loose bolts they were loosened by the candy dealer.
Turns out this dark carousel ride is a killer.
You keep on eating The candy Though it rotten your teeth.
The ride destroys your mind but to get off you keep get cold feet . Can’t seem to get off this dark carrousel ride.
I say my peace and bid you goodbye I can’t truly say I have not enjoyed this 30 year ride.
So goodbye mother I hope one day you will see.
That I did all I could but it’s it’s up to you not me.
