There’s No Enemy Outside Of Us

There’s no enemy on the outside,
all of them reside in our soul inside ,
hate , greed, envy, anger and pride.
Avoid all and peace will be in your sight.

If someone comes into your life
and makes you happy,
but they can’t stay and go away.
be happy and be grateful for whatever brief time they gave.
Be blessed that your paths , albeit briefly, had crossed.
They have left and perhaps there’s good reason why,
It’s not for us to ask the reason but we try.
Accept what is
and saviour the good memories.

Because people come and people go
Some come back , some don’t
But that’s okay you must know.
Life is change.
And we got to change with time all the same.
And we got to get on with that change.
We got to change ourselves and not be estranged.
