The Girl

The Girl

The girl that you see walking around all happy
Is not the same on the inside
Inside of her she is sad
Inside of her she is mad
Inside of her she is depressed
People ask her if she is okay but she says that she is fine
They don't even bother to ask more
Those who actually care look at her in her eyes and ask her tell me more
The girl has scars on her arms that no one seems to notice or if they do they just do not care
The girl that you see everyday struggles everyday to get out of bed
To have any motivation to live
Her life is a mess
And she can't fix it
The girl hides behind a mask saying that she is okay
When she knows deep down that she isn't
When in all honesty she just wants the pain to go away
The girl who hides behind a wall does it because it is all she has ever known
If you see this girl would you help her or would you let her struggle throughout her day?
If I told you that I was that girl would your answer still be the same?
