Great Is the LORD
Richard Newton Sherrer 1951 (Easton)
All of your works the Lord gives praise,
As all of the saints shall bless you;
The blessings will come all your days,
As long as you will remain true.
Of the glory of His Kingdom,
Talk of His power they shall speak;
For His knowledge and His wisdom,
Rewarding you from what you seek.
Make known to children mighty deeds,
Glorious splendor of His acts;
All the catering of your needs,
That Scripture explains as the facts.
His Kingdom is everlasting,
Endures through all generations;
His pure light is ever casting,
You enter as new creations.
The Lord upholds all that would fall,
Raising up all who will bow down;
Confession through prayer as you call,
As He gives you a golden crown.
The eyes of all look to the Lord,
He gives them food in due season;
Your needs will be never ignored,
Of what has a valid reason.
He opens your hand for giving,
To satisfy your desire;
That you are needing for living,
Sustaining life you require.
The Lord is righteous in His ways,
In all His works kind and holy;
Forgiveness for someone that strays,
When confessing of their folly.
The Lord is near to all those who call,
To all who call and are sincere;
He will rescue them from their fall,
To worship Him as they revere.
The Lord preserves all who will love,
While hearing all those who cry;
Wiping away their tears thereof,
Calming down of their stressful sigh.
