Give My Life to Thee
I have a best friend I have never seen, and I barely know
He is my father god and I believe in him so
I pray to him every night; I ask him for his guidance and protection
He speaks to me with a lot of affection
In ways you may never know
He says, he has been my protecting shield since the day of birth
I have decided to give my life to him to remove this forbidden curse
He has laid his life down for me
Why can’t I do the same, so I can live free
He says if I give my life to thee
His direction will become clearer for me to see
He says he has been talking to me, but I have been unable to hear
He asks that I believe in his teaching and in his words, If I do so, it will remove a lot of fear
Over the last days, I have cried a lot of tears
I just wish the pain I felt, will disappear
I call upon you lord and I give my life to thee
To know your teaching, your word, and know you personally
I thank you for being my protecting shield
Now I give my life to thee, so, I can properly heal
