Unhinged World

If I had a choice

I'd remove the complexities of my mind

I'd freeze the time lost to the traumatic events

I'd freeze the pain

I'd place a steel shield around my heart enclosed with metal beams

I'd replace my bones with titanium

I'd power wash my brain of all of its experiences and fill it with the thoughts of a life fulfilled, with some trials and many periods of happiness.

Furthermore, I'd provide myself with a true father

After a moments work

Just

Perhaps

Complete success will be the result.

Perhaps

The pain will disappear

My purpose would be fulfilled

I'd rid the world, of the isms in life

I'd remove

The violence within the world

And return

Morals

Values

Happiness

And Love

I'd return

The light bugs

Everyone would love one another regardless of differences

Yet, It isn't

I have to carry my cross

And

Accept my past

Among the destruction

I have to figure out a new way to rebuild a new path

With what remains

Lastly

I continue to be a work in progress

And

God, is still not through with me yet.
