Day AND NIGHT

Ramon N Crenshaw 1955 (North Carolina)

I like the day, I like the night.
To me they are both alright.
When I go out in the morning and I see the sun,
I run and jump and play until the day is done.
We go outside at night, we watch the stars come
out, we try to name them all, we jump and shout.
I like the day I like the night.
To me they both are alright.

About this poem

This is a children's poem about their joyful and care free outlook about life and all the things that they find in it , the ability to laugh about seemingly nothing all day and have fun doing it.
