Addicted

I wake up and think of you,
I do the dishes and think of you,
I brush my hair and think of you,
I think of you so often this is true.

My addiction in life is your love.
It is like you've been sent from above.
So gentle and kind.
Now a days, your type is so hard to find.

My situation is full of despondent times,
But you lift me up when you can.
With you, I do not have to pretend.

I can be foolish and goofy, but you don't care,
You would be with me anytime and anywhere.
You and me would be an unbreakable team.
You would fill the empty spaces in my heart and in between.

I am addicted to everything that you are.
One day I will make you shine like a star.
You will blush so hard, and I will make you mine.
The only thing we have to wait on is time.

I know it sucks and it really is not okay,
I just want you to know I am here to stay.
I will wait, if you can, please wait for me too.
Then we would never have to be blue.

You are my addiction and I can not get enough.
You are cute, wonderful, brave and tough.
You are all the qualities I have looked in ages for.
You will be in my heart forever more.
