An Abstract View

Pamela Pride 1984 (Alabama)

I see the world through an artist's eyes
An abstract view of space and time
Where things are never as they seem
As if they merely exist in a dream
All things around me are a blur
And are only as tangible as the emotions they stir
The whole world is an illusion
One that causes complete confusion
I see the world through an artist's eyes
An abstract view of space and time

About this poem

This was a poem I wrote a long time ago. It is already on this website under my maiden name of Pamela Morgan, but I cannot get into that account anymore, so I have created a new account with my new name. It was a poem inspired by a Monet.
