NOBEL NO LONGER NOBLE

A black-supremist racist
Wins an award for aiding peace,
While far off in Zimbabwe
Foul, yellow cowards creep.

Three thousand dead in New York
Brings on a holy war,
While the UN’s Kofi Annan
Is no better than a whore.

The Nobel Prize has fallen
From great heights to great depths,
Now any no-hoper can win
No matter how talent bereft.

No longer proud or noble
The prize has fallen low,
Plummeting to depths that
It once could never know.

It once was the greatest prize
Anyone could ever get,
Now it goes to racists,
Brain-dead clowns, and other rejects.

Kofi Annan has never made
Any real stand for peace,
Such honour as Nobel bestows
Should be well out of his reach.

Surely an award for peace
Should preclude those who start the wars?
Preclude those too chicken to dissent?
Preclude those no better than whores?

About this poem

Written after the sick, dirty joke of Kofi Annan winning the Nobel Peace Prize - Almost as obscene as Barack Obama winning it!
