Heaven and Hell

Sheikh Fazlul Karim 1882 (Bangladesh) – 1936 (Bangladesh)

Where is heaven, where is hell, who says they’re far away from you?
Heaven and hell are within the people. Angels and demons are within us too.
When our conscience is overthrown by the deadly sins,
The hellfire of self-repentance burns within us then.
When the holy tide of universal love brings us all as one,
Heaven comes down to abide in our hut with everyone

(This is the English translation by me.)
