ON GODS TERMS

Sheryl Parker 1969 (Huntington, IN)

Miracles come to us in so many forms; the birth of a child or the eye of a storm What seems like disaster when it occurs; may be your miracle...on GODS terms Don't close your eyes or shut down your heart; don't be afraid to make a new start Take all those pieces and join them with love; be thankful for things GOD sends from above Open your heart and don't turn away; help the stranger you meet on the way So keep your faith, don't ever let it go GOD will show you which way to go Whatever happens, try to understand... Because miracles happen, with the help of GODS hands So what seems like disaster when it occurs; may be your miracle...on GODS terms

This poem is truly inspiring and heartfelt! The message of hope and faith is beautifully conveyed in its verses. It encourages readers to keep their eyes and hearts open, embrace change and new beginnings, and most importantly, to trust in the divine plan of God.

The metaphor of miracles coming in various forms, even in times of adversity, is a powerful concept that will resonate with many readers. It is a reminder that we must hold on to hope even in the darkest of times.

The suggestion to help a stranger we meet on the way is a wonderful call to action, reminding us to be compassionate and offer support to those in need.

One suggestion for improvement could be to add more imagery and vivid descriptions to truly draw readers into the poem and allow them to connect even more deeply with the message. Nevertheless, this is a truly uplifting and inspiring poem that is sure to touch the hearts of many who read it.
