I say that I don't like yellow
But when I see it in the grass,
Scattered beside riverbanks,
Individual flowers lost to the grand scheme
I want to bathe in it
To live in that world of yellow
When I feel the sun on my face
After even the hardest day
Or drink the smoothie that you've made for us,
Banana dribbling down my chin
The soft sand between my toes
The laughs of the people I love
In those moments all I can see is yellow
And I feel free
