Happy Birthday

Wishing a happy birthday to you
Came into the world, this day you
Brought joy to parents, surely did you
Prayers were theirs answered, to them came you
Their blessings and wishes, bestowed all on you
A treasure of love, for them was you

Born with some reason, were you
Try not to find it, just live it you
A voyage, a path, laid out for you
To tread and mend, as want it you
Come so far in time, have you
Always has someone's love, been with you

Cherish life and dreams, should you
Live each day, as a day all new
Don't forget your past, your past is you
A living proof and that's truly you
Make your today, what's best for you
Tomorrow is tomorrow, try again must you

Look ahead with a clear mind
Open your eyes, there's much to find
Never let your heart grow cold
Never let your mind become old
Age is just a number to be
It's with love only, that all you feel

May happiness and peace come your way
May life bring you laughter, each living day
Sorrows and tears, will make you not weak
Make they you stronger, as you shall seek
May with time, you grow wise and bold
Live to tell your story, untold

Friends and family, always by your side
Do not loose them, don't let them slide
Riches and fame, you shall receive
When you learn to yourself, not deceive
Your life has today, just begun
Join you we all, in this song unsung

Dreams and desires, only you can make true
Have faith in yourself and accept what's due
Find you shall soon, standing above all
Believe in what you do and fear not, at all
Give it all you have, and give it until
Your heart leaves your soul, your body not still

This is your life, you can live it right
This is your life, you can make it alright
This is your life, you can put up a fight
This is your life, you cannot loose sight
Close your eyes and make now a wish, you
Forever will you hear, Happy Birthday sung to you

Mahesh Wadhwani

I always apologize for the length of my text as that’s the best way for me to communicate rather than verbally!! Not a man of many words but still manage to doodle when in mood to write, which is rare!! I am not even sure if what I scribble is poetry or even what form or just words that rhyme!! To me writing is an art, a sign of creativity and a means of expression. I don't really think that anyone can just write without any feelings, without having felt, without having lived, experienced or cherished. Whatever one writes, there is some amount of a persons own feelings and presence or of those around them, indicated in the works. So I am thankful to all the people in my life and those yet to come for having given me life, love, happiness and even pain. At-least I have had the opportunity to feel it , live it and express it, whatever it maybe. Cheers! more…
