Just Me, Myself & I

Don't know what and how to say
A poet I'm not, nor here forever to stay
Write I do, what comes to mind
Thoughts are these but few, of mine
Have been lead to believe and been lead to fall
Have been made to see and feel it all
Have learnt a lot, from this life of mine
Have still a lot to learn, in this life of mine
Friends and family, stranger and foe
All play their role, in my folklore
Have shared a lot, with me, when they could
Always wished that, be with me, they should
But one cannot get them all in life
We are all each others angel, in disguise
They too have a life of their own
That too they have all, very well shown
Very close to a few of them, am I
Ones that I love, for those I can die
Willing to be hurt, willing to be used
Willing to be lead, willing to be by them abused
Give, I yet will, until on my feet can I stand
But giving without expect, is hard for me to understand
You may call me, a weird kind of guy
But all I know, I'm just another passerby
Laugh at my feelings, you may too
But privileged am I and I see it through
Hard for me, is to spill my heart to you
Forgive I can, forget not, that's true
A lot I want to give and share
That life has given me and to me has bared
I know, that I am not walking ever alone
My shadow's always with me, the light forever has shone
Filled with just words I am, but all
So have said people, so have said them all
Words are words, but never enough
Words are plenty and some people at it laugh
These are feelings of mine, so deep and dark
It's my life, my voyage, that I now embark
You may never understand, what I want to say
But we each sing the same song, each a different way

Mahesh Wadhwani

I always apologize for the length of my text as that’s the best way for me to communicate rather than verbally!! Not a man of many words but still manage to doodle when in mood to write, which is rare!! I am not even sure if what I scribble is poetry or even what form or just words that rhyme!! To me writing is an art, a sign of creativity and a means of expression. I don't really think that anyone can just write without any feelings, without having felt, without having lived, experienced or cherished. Whatever one writes, there is some amount of a persons own feelings and presence or of those around them, indicated in the works. So I am thankful to all the people in my life and those yet to come for having given me life, love, happiness and even pain. At-least I have had the opportunity to feel it , live it and express it, whatever it maybe. Cheers! more…
