Be Thankful

Julius Franks 1961 (Alabama)

Be Thankful
Sometimes life hands you lemons, but you might not like lemonade,be thankful,God never puts  more on you, than you can handle.,be thankful. We must as humans,be thankful in life and for life and not get to wrapped up in our wants and needs. For so many others, have so much less and survive on even lesser.Death is all around us,sadness engulfs our world and memories,of better days, run through our minds. We wish,we hope and we pray, and we get  annoyed by the insecurities in life.We hold back love, joy, and sometimes our faith waivers, because in our minds,we think,we deserve better. When so many others are suffering in silence, cold in their homes, hungry, but not wanting a handout.Elders are choosing between eating or getting their prescriptions. We want new clothes,we want our hair done,.There is people who survive on nothing, but the hand of their God,to guide them
and be their salvation. The next time, you feel sad and confused and your wondering, how you will survive, just one more day, take a minute,to thank God,for what you have, take a minute and bow your head low,for all those, who have so much less, than you and please be thankful.
