A Tale Of Moon
Dear Moon
I have heard
Lots of tales about you
Since my childhood
But today I tell you
My tale about you
During my childhood
I slept in the open sky
Watching, wondering
The light of you
And stayed counting
The list of your glamorous stars
But I always faced failure
In the cloudy weather
I enjoyed
Your hide-and-seek
I wanted to fly to touch you
But it was impossible
Anyhow, I saw someone
At long distance
In your such play
I dreamed dreams
I desired desires
I hoped hopes
I started the journey for that
Years and years
For a moon as like you,
Which could enlighten my life
But my entity reached
To the bank of collapse
My dreams, desires, and hopes
Became under the darkness
Despite that, I still watch you
And I still feel a moon as like you
In my thoughts, imaginations
I realize; it is somewhere in Europe,
London, New York, Kabul, Damascus,
Karachi or Larkana
But alas, I cannot reach you both
Since it is a long; long distance
In all dimensions
Ah, O' my Moon
I wish I could break that distance.
