Eager to learn.
Yet the fire of desire,
Does also burn,

 Burn from the fuel,
Of passion relived,
 And loneliness' tool,
 That makes one forgive,

Forgive of the. pain,
I alone inflict,
When value doth wane,
Of a vanity pricked,

 Pricked ego-loon,
 Hot air a-spewing,
 And deflated too soon,
 Leaves empty ensuing,

 Ensuing yet again,
 A love of the better,
