Unending Nights

Sherry Caayupan 1980 (Davao city)

A chain through the hollow moon in endless nights,
Without a wink, I see darkness engulfing;
Guilty pleasures bloom as sparks fly,
Wide open arms savoring bliss entwining;

A warmth of boundless faith and passion,
Lovers longing for their loving presence;
Time stood still in this couple's union,
No wasted tears or endearment stolen;

A blessed patronage of this love's fruits,
Like a pot of gold at the end of every rainbow;
The pouring rain stays serene, it can't undo,
This star-crossed lovers' truthful row;

A guiding light shines through the gate,
Of this love's starting pace;
Love have found a lasting slate,
As a strong and binding space.
