THE BALLAD OF JUNIOR BUSH

Phil Roberts 1957 (Melbourne)

Put into high office
By his brother’s insidious rorts
This evil, obtuse man
Certainly cannot be taught.

This sanctimonious cretin
His words are naught but a sham,
He promised to treat all fairly
Christian, Jew, or even Islam.

But his Gestapo fiends have kidnapped
Honest, decent Americans,
Locked away in secret locations
For practising Islam.

They’ve been locked away now
780 days and 780 nights,
Denied access to lawyers
Denied all basic human rights.

Now Junior is on the prowl
This sick man is on the rampage,
Now good men are locked away
Like wild animals in a cage.

We need some patriotic soul
To save us from Junior Bush,
If Richard Nixon could be shoved
Why can’t Junior get the push?

What does it take to remove
This tyrant from his ivory tower?
What does in need to put
This evil man out of power?

He didn’t win the election
His brother rigged the vote,
How do we restore democracy
And remove this evil old scrote?
