Perplexed?

What was it that I wanted to say
How is it that I often feel this way
Walk with me and be a friend
Talk to me and give me some time to respond
I am who I say that I am

Are you the person you want me to be?Emily said: “I’m nobody…”
That fits with me…as there will come a day
When I shall fly away and shed
Not a single dare, fear or tear.
