TROUBLED MINDS 2

When your mind is at odds,
and the world is at loggerheads,
take  time out,
and find solace to pacify your self doubt,
and quench the thirst
of your inner drought.

We long for our lives
and the world to be in peace.
Wish it was a big comforting blanket
to soothe my searing heart out.

But instead it’s in pieces,
and at the mercy of the wicket.
No longer can I kick my emotions
in to the long grass of the thicket.
