Surprise Ending

Why are we still up to even discuss this?
Who is it that concerned now to know,
What the time is?
Awaiting for others yet to arrive.
To neither be close or near to the book.
Or the same page we together,
Have been reading to understand.
Comprehend and made understood.
And they are probably somewhere,
Trying to find their way through...
Chaos and conflicts.
That has absolutely,
Nothing to do with them.

And not to know we have been here.
Reading from that book,
That has long been opened.
Leaving chaos and conflict behind.
With all of us not to know but suspect,
The surprise of the ending.
Not even left to guess.
What the outcome is going to be.
Without depending on prophesy.
Or whatever that is,
Non-readers believe to rumor about!

'Some folks are just socially illiterate!'

'And what else?'

'What do you mean what else?
What else could there be?'

'There are many folks,
Still addicted and attracted to fiction.
And deny they've been drugged,
Fighting each other...
To get something or someone to create,
A permanent fix.
To keep them forever deluded.'

'Perhaps...
That is where the others are!'

'Okay.
Maybe you should go find them?'

'And miss the ending?
No way.
Me?
I am a recovered fool.
