Eucharistic Adoration

who am I

who are you

who are we

who are they

to tell the Lord

in our arrogance

& sinful pride

that He

the Lord of all

should come to us

as we say

as we deem fit

appropriate to our time

in modern dress & vernacular

in modern thought & idea

exulting races stars & infamous lies

these puny deceitful pernicious ties

to bedlam caused by motley fools

of journalistic based proportions

twisting truth into hideous contortions

pride & arrogance are only bold

out of ignorance & stupidity told

to absorbing spongy immature minds

unable to see trash from fiction sold
