If You Were Here Right Now
I would give all my love to you
If you were by my side,
I would know just what to do
If I could reach out and touch you,
kiss your face and caress your skin
We would both be lifted to heaven,
A Blessing that God does send
If you were by my side, to laugh and to cry
Sharing life together,
until the time that we will die
Two Souls forever bonded,
entwined forever more
God’s Tribute to love,
Together our spirits will soar
I have a need to love you,
here on this earthly plain
Wanting and burning desires,
for I only call your name
Please God my Father,
in prayer I ask of Thee
Hear my hearts yearnings,
and send him home to me
