The Song with the Nostalgic Feel

David Montiel 1993 (California)

Listening to a song that gives you the nostalgic feel
Is like opening the eyes and mind of your wondrous soul
More than just a kiss that would make a joyous seal
More than that time I spent wondering the streets of Madrid in the black automobile
Where does my heart wonder too, where does my mind race to?
Is it the waves of the big blue ocean, that rock the world with emotion
Or could it be the streets of Rio in Brazil, or the steep patchy high hills of Scotland, too
Sometimes i feel, it's a special hidden feeling moving in motion
Touches the eyes of the heart, becomes like a potent potion.
That every time you would listen, you would feel like a new start
Or could you say a hidden type of energy, filled with wondrous art

You tell me, where does your joyous heart move to
Is it Paris, Istanbul, Alexandria, Tokyo, Manila, New York
Or is the captivating song taking you through to……
Through life! As you finish your last bite and pinch it with delight with a silver fork
As you sip the last caramel drop of your medium roast coffee brewed in your own backyard
You rekindle the flavorful smell of the overjoyous blooming lilies growing and showing
Filled with more life and energy, you laugh and smile while shrugging it off with disregard.
Turning around to see life, LIFE it is, Life worth resuming and  purposefully pursuing.
