And then there was

Reign 2004 (New york)

There were two who had a little one
Then the other ran away and was replaced by the one who raped her

and then there was the day she finally had enough of being abused and feeling dirty and used but when she kicked him off his neck snapped

And then there were those who didn’t believe her and shipped her off to jail to repent for the sins of filthy old male

And then there was another who took advantage of her and the position he held and the same was for the all the prison girls as well

And then there was someone who believed in her truth but was found dead in the telephone booth snitches get stitches but all of those bitches who killed her for a device that ended saving their lives

And then there was one with a camera in hand recorded the monster he soon crumbled like a mighty temple turned to sand

And then there was two the other half she thought but soon saw a pattern in which she was caught with the same damn story but the pages kept flipping with horrors so gory

And there was another a gift of life a bundle of joy she was not alone for she had a baby boy wishing the story ended but this was not a chapter than mended her only hope was some peace

But then there was none brutally slaughtered by the previous one. Last seen holding onto her child with ink and tears ripped pages in piles her last breath taken from her like the child she birthed

And then there was one who couldn’t stop singing her words etched in her mind and kept on repeating I shared this story to keep her with and to uphold her memory
