Memory

Why not become my memory
And live in my dream?
Make sure I am not awakened,
And live not in extremes.

You are a great human,
That is not one of my sorrows.
Question is, why we did forget
What was to be our tomorrow?

I have to live with myself
While dying slowly each day;
You are playing with my life,
As if I were nothing or in your way.

Let me leave you with,
The memory of our few better days.
Let me tell you,
It could not have ended for us anyway.

All I am left with is
My loved one’s excuses for my living;
Remember, I have tried hard
In what was my best inning.

For all my loved ones
I am happy
To live with my sufferings
Knowing that none of them would
Be satisfied with what I was offering.

Dying slowly, painfully in your mind
Your impatience ending our meeting
In sadness blind.
