Why I danced when I was set ablaze in a room with no Doors?

Arrested breath or escaping sighs
The nakedness of the event
Kept me going.

Watched with closed eyes
The fire lit on my body
Ablaze, it coloured the grooves of my room yellow.
I saw my verses
Being sung by cherubs
And the seraphim offering me a pen from the yellow flames.
Consolation found.

But a minion from the blackest cracks of the yellowest grooves
Whispered to me.
A coward me stood silently.
But with the seraphim, I danced in my yellow bright room
The minion spoke of my nuances
My betrayal and ego

But still I danced to my cracking bones
Danced into the smog of my burning flesh
And participated
In the orgy.
