Caucasian Myths

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

As an American.
Black.
And addressed to describe,
Which depiction best fits.
I have come to realize,
My ethnicity is more diverse...
Than any other race there is.
In a land that is called The United States.
Where fictioned Caucasian myths,
Have been isolated to teach and delude...
An existence of a reality.
To defend and include,
Such nonsense to create and believe.
That makes truth to fear its honesty.
And made this the most thing to threaten,
For those who send...
Their children to schools.
Demanding they remain,
As ignorant as possible...
To their own history.
With a protesting this to do,
Will reveal to prove...
Who has chosen to keep them fools.
Done to do to prevent them from truth.
And all that truth does,
To broaden their limited restricted minds!

'Critical Race Theory' to teach,
Is nothing more...
Than bigotry, racism and hatred to allow.
And...
A creating of division.
That is not the American way of life!'

'Excuse me, but...
From which part of that alternate Universe,
Have you all been living to reside?
Perhaps you are not aware of it.
But this is Earth One!
And...
Whatever is going on upon Earth Two?
Has deluded you out of your minds.
If you take time and look around here,
On Earth One.
You will find you either have ignored,
A diversity to take for granted.
To depend upon the reality of it.

Or...
Your blinded deluded minds perceive,
Those of us of color...
You know,
The blacks, browns and the mixture of it.
Have been assigned and appointed,
To serve and provide your every need.
Snap out of this nightmare you've created!
It's not proving healthy to your...
How can I put this?
Oh yes.
Not proving healthy to your mentalities!'

'We object to your insinuations!'

'I would too.
If I was sold on lies.
To purposely keep me deceived.
And all my life too?
I'd be throwing childish tantrums.
Hoping that destroying everything,
Will make people convinced...
I am the creator of the Cosmos.
And I interviewed God.
Before I decided,
He would be a good servant!
