Doom Gloomers

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

From continent to continent.
From sea to polluted sea.
Spreading disease to defeat,
All that is good and should be.
For a doing of their evil deeds.

With minds high on poisoned beliefs.
To convince themselves,
Chosen disciples to destroy...
Humanity and its racial mix.
Along with truth and this reality.
Unable to accept,
The doing of God...Thee Almighty.
The Creator of all of it!

Blinded unconscious to the consequences.
Developing to relieve and remove them,
From their agonizing empty souls.
Self inflicted with a wish to not exist.
Or be a part of this blessing.

'Geeessshhh.
So stark and dark.
Lifeless!
This doom and gloomy picture you paint!'

'ME?
I am just an observer.
Not the creator of this tragedy!
However...
Surprised I will not be,
If accused and blamed...
For what is being done.
From coast to coast.
Since man-made time began to find,
Some reason to identify...
Why the color of one's skin,
Has driven them crazy.'

'That is not a 'prophecy!'

'Who knows which gospels,
Were eliminated from the original Bible?'

'Or which picked saints,
Were either Republican or Democrat.
Was God a Jew?'

'WHAT?'

'Was God a Jew.
His son Jesus was!'

'That question would be better to ask,
White supremists.
You know...
The ones pure and knowledgeable,
About everything God does.
To have been anointed with wisdom!
From emaculate births.
