An ode to our herd.

3 weeks to flatten curves,
3 years to test 'it' out.
We need time to remove the impurities,
That's all this new game's about.

To restrict the movements of the free,
change who you used to be,
mandate control,
reshape it all,
But first you and I must cull the old.

Remove all the elders,
Or lest you'll never forget.
A history filled future,
We haven't made for you yet.

You can't work it out,
We've dumbed you all down.
You'll do as you're told,
Judge wisdom a clown.

You'll chastise the cautious,
Scream "you're killing us all".
Without rhyme or reason,
You'll help destroy it all.

These are our tools,
Our weapons of choice.
To silence critical thinking
And give insanity a voice.

So sleep little children...
The time will soon come,
When a new world will dawn,
And you'll be all gone.
